Tool and Test Equipment (TTE) Equivalency 에 대한 검토

TTE Equivalency에 대한 검토 기준/Guidance 는 ARINC REPORT 668, GUIDANCE FOR TOOL AND TEST EQUIPMENT (TTE) EQUIVALENCY에서 제공하고 있음.

 

TTE equivalency 검토 절차를 통해 test procedure를 변경해야 할 필요가 있을 경우에는 ARINC Report 625, Quality Management Process for Test Procedure Generation의 내용을 검토해야 함.

 

항공사 혹은 Repair Station이 OEM에서 규정하고 있는 TTE를 사용하는 경우에는 Equivalency 에 대한 증빙은 필요하지 않음. 그러나, 항공사 혹은 Repair Station이 OEM 에서 규정하는 TTE 이외의 것을 사용하고자 하는 경우에는 Alternate TTE가 수행하고자 하는 Task의 요건을 만족하는지를 demonstrate 할 수 있어야 함.

 

OEM Documentation에서 별도의 TTE를 규정하지 않고 Task를 명시하고 있는 경우, 해당 Task의 수행을 위한 적절한 TTE의 선정 시 Equivalency를 증빙하는 것은 필요하지 않음. 

 

Alternate equipment로 지정된 equivalent equipment는 다음의 요건을 만족해야 한다:

• Verified to be functionally equivalent to the OEM specified equipment (produces the required results) for the task at hand.
• Capable of testing/checking specified parameters, physical properties and critical processes (to required accuracy, tolerance or standards) for the task at hand.
• Applied in a manner to provide the required accuracy or result.
• Supported by sufficient technical documentation.
• Documented and controlled by an approved maintenance program.
